Day 1: Cape Town, South Africa
Arrive in Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape of Good Hope
Set out on a full-day tour of the Cape of Good Hope including Hout Bay to see Cape fur seals, Cape Point, and a Boulders Beach to see a penguin colony.

Day 3: Cape Town
Take a ferry ride to Robben Island, the UNESCO World Heritage site where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Then, enjoy a Cape Town city tour including Table Mountain, the Bo Kaap, District Six Museum, Castle of Good Hope, and Greenmarket Square.

Day 4: Cape Town
Meet local children and learn about South Africa’s educational system during a primary school visit. Children are invited to play soccer with the students. This afternoon, participate in a drumming workshop.

Day 5: Cape Town
Spend the day touring the Cape Town wine route, tasting the “fruits of the vines” and enjoying the charm and hospitality of this unique region.

Day 6: Cape Town / Johannesburg / MalaMala Game Reserve
Fly to Nelspruit and transfer to your safari lodge located within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Set out on an afternoon game drive and marvel at Africa’s “big five”–lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, rhino, and elephant.

Day 7: MalaMala Game Reserve
Embark on morning and afternoon game drives with expert naturalists. Opt for a guided walk in the bush, which provides a better chance to see some of the smaller species of the region.

Day 8: MalaMala Game Reserve
Set out on game drives in search of cheetah, giraffe, zebra, and a variety of antelope species.

Day 9: MalaMala Game Reserve / Johannesburg / Depart for Home
Fly to Johannesburg and connect to international flights home.
