Day 1: Quito, Ecuador
Arrive in Quito.

Day 2: Quito
Enjoy a full-day, privately guided tour of Quito, Ecuador’s capital and UNESCO World Heritage site founded on the ruins of an Inca city.

Day 3: Quito / Otavalo / Quito
Travel outside of Quito to the largely indigenous town Otavalo, considered one of the most important cultural destinations of Ecuador.

Day 4: Quito / The Galápagos Islands
Transfer to the Quito airport for a flight to the Galápagos Islands. Arrive on Baltra Island and board a luxury yacht, which will be home for the next seven nights while exploring the Galápagos Islands. Embark on the first Galápagos excursion.

Day 5: The Galápagos Islands
Wade ashore at Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela Island. Enjoy the dramatic volcanic geology of the area and abundant wildlife. Enjoy opportunities for snorkeling, swimming, and glass boat excursions throughout the trip.

Day 6: The Galápagos Islands
Explore Isabela Island, located at the foot of volcanoes Alcedo and Darwin. Observe large and very colorful Galápagos land iguanas, giant tortoises, and Darwin’s finches. Visit secluded Tagus Cove, which was in past centuries a favorite anchor for pirates and whalers.

Day 7: The Galápagos Islands
Disembark onto a red-colored beach to explore the small Rábida Island. Observe a large colony of sea lions, marine iguanas, mockingbirds, yellow warblers and several species of Darwin’s finches.

Day 8: The Galápagos Islands
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, a working branch of the Charles Darwin Foundation, which provides scientific research and technical assistance to ensure the preservation of the Galápagos Islands.

Day 9: The Galápagos Islands
Stop at Post Office Bay to learn about the human side of the islands, its early inhabitants and the adventures of pirates and whalers.

Day 10: The Galápagos Islands
Explore Santa Fe Island’s white sandy beach, home to many sea lion harems. Observe Galápagos hawks perched atop salt bushes and the giant prickly pear cactus with its tree-sized trunks.

Day 11: The Galápagos Islands / Quito / Depart for Home
Bid farewell to fellow travelers, staff, and crew. Disembark the ship, transfer to the airport, and fly to Quito, connecting to international flights home.
